Discussion Threads/Topics - NEW > Bailing Out Adult Children

A scenario:

An adult son gets injured while playing his favorite sport. His job is physically demanding, so he won't be able to peform it - and short term disability will need to kick in - which means at least a one-third reduction in pay. He's single - no ties; only mounting bills. Should he be helped with finances?

A parent will always find this question a difficult one to answer. Variables differ from one family unit to another.

Thoughts on the matter? In the above scenario, this adult son continues to live at home, and his credit is good... strong points in favor of helping him.
